Research Technology Systems

The mission of the Research Technologies Systems directorate is to develop, deliver, and support robust and reliable computation and storage systems and services that enable new types of research, pedagogy, creative activity and amplify the talents and visions of local and national researchers in a wide range of scholarly and artistic disciplines.

The Research Technologies systems directorate designs, deploys and administers the world-class supercomputing and storage systems that make up the hardware component of Indiana University’s advanced cyberinfrastructure, as well as the core services which support the effective use of these systems. Research Technologies Systems combines deep human expertise, robust systems and services, and advances in computer science and informatics to address the needs of researchers and their collaborators on the local, national, and international stage.
