The vision of the CyberDH team is to establish a model environment for innovative, sustainable, and user-centric digital humanities research and education based on university and national cyberinfrastructure resources.
The mission of the CyberDH team is to support scholarship, education, and innovation for the digital humanities across the IU system. We do this by creating consultative and technological bridges between the needs of IU humanists and the existing cyberinfrastructure and service resources within UITS, IU, and the national research cyberinfrastructure. Key resources within UITS include high-performance computing, advanced visualization, research storage, and gateways technologies; IU resources include the IU and IUPUI Libraries, IDAH, CATAPULT, MDPI, OVPR programs, and academic departments at IUB and IUPUI; national resources include XSEDE, HTRC, and collaborative DH initiatives. The CyberDH team strives for sustainability by prioritizing solutions through an “adopt first, adapt second, and create third” approach.
